Keyboard Lessons

A few weeks ago, Brian and Calvin began keyboard lessons. Their teacher has a boy Brian's age in the same class at yochien (kindergarten). They live in our building, so lessons are easy to schedule.

Both Brian and Calvin enjoy the lessons. Recently, when passing through the living room, they often stop at the keyboard and play a song or two before moving on.

Steve bought the very inexpensive CyberSound Studio MIDI kit ($69, including software, MIDI interface, and keyboard) to capture the kid's efforts on his Mac. You can hear the results below.

Michelle is "too young to take instruction" (ain't THAT the truth!) but she, too, bangs away and thoroughly enjoys it.
